Math activities engage students in a given topic, develop problem-solving skills, and enhance a student's understanding of how to use math in real-world situations.
The early/older sprouts are given task such as cleaning up toys and folding their blankets. They are rewarded with real money, provided by Sproutlets. Their money is kept in a small individual bank. We operate a small store which allows students to purchase certain items, such as toys, flash cards, and healthy snacks. This increases their awareness of the value of money, as well as helping them to learn basic mathematic concepts.
